IT Architect

Position Description: Functions as a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) subject matter expert; develops and designs SOA strategies that drive consistent service architecture across enterprise environments. Provides technical consultation and strategic leadership support to key business leaders and stays current on new technology. Prepares research, analysis, presentations, test reports, whitepapers, and proposals that demonstrate Return on Investment (ROI) for SOA implementation

Skill Requirements:

  • Significant experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) processes (e.g., service governance, service-level agreements), and technologies (e.g., Web Services, SOAP, XML, UDDI)
  • Knowledge of the DoD Net-Centric Data Strategy
  • Ability to develop a SOA strategy to drive consistent service architecture
  • Experience with analyzing and monitoring large complex systems, system of systems, enterprise-wide systems engineering
  • Experience in the JCIDS process and the DoD 5000 life cycle phases of major programs with ability to provide consultation on achieving major acquisition milestones
  • Provide leadership within Government/contractor teams supporting the engineering associated with the acquisition of complex programs
  • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to deal with ambiguous situations as well as advanced writing, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate and work in a diverse working setting is critical
  • Clearable to Secret level (minimum)

Experience / Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, engineering technology or computer science discipline preferred but can substitute with 5+ years performing IA activities associated with the Basic Qualifications
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or a Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) desired

DoDAF Architect

Position Description: Provide support in developing DoD C4I architectural products. These products include, but are not limited to, Operational Views, System Views and Technical Views for new and legacy systems. Skill Requirements: Prior experience in developing information Support Plans (ISPs).

  • 5 years of professional engineering or DoDAF system architecture experience
  • A working knowledge of the OSI Networking Model
  • Experience with analyzing and monitoring large complex systems, system of systems, enterprise-wide systems engineering
  • Experience in the JCIDS process and the DoD 5000 life cycle phases of major programs with ability to provide consultation on achieving major acquisition milestones
  • Provide leadership within Government/contractor teams supporting the engineering associated with the acquisition of complex programs
  • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to deal with ambiguous situations as well as advanced writing, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate and work in a diverse working setting is critical
  • Clearable to Secret level (minimum)

Systems Engineer

Position Description: Develop and apply advanced approaches and technologies to solve critical technological problems. Work with government officials, and industry partners, to support the coordinated implementation of complex, disparate programs.

Skill Requirements:

  • Conduct technical analyses and cross-program assessments necessary to achieve an integrated portfolio capability
  • Technical expertise is required in the disciplines of information transport, network management, spectrum management, enterprise services, and/or information assurance. Experience with DoD systems and programs is mandatory, commercial experience is a plus.
  • Experience with analyzing and monitoring large complex systems, system of systems, enterprise-wide systems engineering
  • Experience in the JCIDS process and the DoD 5000 life cycle phases of major programs with ability to provide consultation on achieving major acquisition milestones
  • Provide leadership within Government/contractor teams supporting the engineering associated with the acquisition of complex programs
  • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to deal with ambiguous situations as well as advanced writing, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate and work in a diverse working setting is critical
  • Clearable to Secret level (minimum)

Experience / Education:

Information Assurance (IA) Engineer

Position Description:
Performs functions as the Information Assurance Officer (IAO). Responsibilities include 24-hour availability, managing security appliances, identifying potential network security vulnerabilities through discovering potential gaps in security best practices. Additional responsibilities include adhering to change control, promoting security policies; coaching network professionals in security in-depth and reporting to Program Manager.

Skill Requirements:

  • Must have CISSP certification
  • DoD IA Level II certified
  • Must have an existing US Secret security clearance or eligible to obtain a clearance
  • Ability to manage in accordance with DoD 8500.1, and 8500.2 guidelines, working knowledge of DIASCAP and SSAA
  • Ability to promote and enforce security policies, security in-depth, coaching junior engineers, and support network audits to protect critical services
  • Experience with analyzing and monitoring large complex systems, system of systems, enterprise-wide systems engineering
